"Double Game" with government coalition
The politics of Pakistan is also like the economic conditions of Pakistan, if something is found, it becomes a conflict, if it is not found, it thunders. Call it the stock exchange that is booming in moments and falling in moments. Liken it to a cricket match or whatever, bridge has masha in bridge.
Now see that no one had any illusion that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be removed and Shehbaz Sharif will be made Prime Minister, Usman Buzdar will be replaced by Hamza Shehbaz or PTI will win in the by-election. Come on PTI won. Now everyone was saying that Chaudhry Pervez Elahi is the perfect Chief Minister, but when the run-off election was held on the order of the court, there was a dramatic change. Whoever gets the most votes loses, whoever gets the least votes wins. Hamza Shehbaz again wore a sherwani, also made a cabinet, but a few hours later the Supreme Court removed this sherwani and put it on Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
Interestingly, Hamza Shehbaz, who took the oath of the Chief Minister twice, could not even complete 100 days of power. A house built on sand could only stand for 88 days. His thorny reign spanned only 2112 hours. Hamza Shehbaz would say that he would have lost his life with this power, but he did not think so.
This is a huge change. PTI has got a big province. There is already a government in a province. The powers of the federal government have been limited. Now the political pressure of Imran Khan has increased. Undoubtedly, Punjab is half of Pakistan. Its population is 12 crores. Whoever wins here forms the government in the federation. Whoever wins the general election will form the government.
Now the thing to think about is why the government coalition has suddenly started speaking against the court, the establishment? The parties involved in the government coalition believe that Imran Khan is still behind the hands of the same forces that brought him to the government and then held his finger and made him rule for three and a half years. The ruling coalition also believes that there has been a "double game" with them, which they have now started mentioning in the media as well. In a sense, this is also their political strategy. Because these people became unpopular after coming to the government and Imran Khan became popular after losing the government.
The parties in the government coalition will now criticize the establishment, as well as the Supreme Court. I think going against the court is their wrong strategy. The Supreme Court is an institution acceptable to the people. This institution has always brought Pakistan out of constitutional crises. Mistakes have also been made but people trust him. There is no swing in the decision of the Supreme Court. Judges decide based on the facts. Qasim Suri's ruling was wrong, so the court declared it wrong. Mazari's ruling was also clearly wrong, it has also been declared wrong. The court ruled out politics. If the assembly had declared the ruling of one deputy speaker wrong and the ruling of the deputy speaker of the other assembly had been right, fingers would have been raised on the role of the court itself. These were the judges who asked for a vote of no confidence against Imran Khan. If they were right then, how come they are wrong now?
The solution to the problem is election. But before that, the conditions for the election have to be created. Differences have their place, but all parties have to create a Charter of Economy along with the Charter of Democracy. A conversation should begin. Political forces should make their own decisions. A favourable environment should be created for the election. Imran Khan is famous for U-turn, for the interest of Pakistan, take a U-turn on this issue as well, it is in the interest of Pakistan and the people.
